Cydcor Community Conducts Retreat for a Cause

Last June 2009, outsourced face-to-face sales teams provider Cydcor sent team leaders and owners of each independent sales office to the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, Arizona for a retreat. Sponsored by the sales company, the R&R Weekend was comprised of various activities for its business participants, friends and families.

About 550 Cydcor community participants of the event enjoyed a Consultant’s Invitational VIP reception, which consisted of a general session and lunch meetings, lounging by the pool, a poolside themed dinner and water park slides. The Weekend ended with an 80s themed dinner party and teams competing in “Family Feud – 80s style,” with the winning team splitting a $1,000 cash prize.

One of the highlights of the affair was the second yearly five-on-five basketball game, which was organized as a challenge between the company’s network of independent corporate licensee (ICL) sales offices. It was also an opportunity to raise funds for charity. The ICL and the Cydcor community raised a total of $2,200, giving it to one of the company’s independent sales offices owner, whose daughter was born and diagnosed with a congenital heart disease called Hypo Plastic Left Heart Syndrome. The funds raised were used to lessen the medical expenses accrued during her treatment.

“We are a business that values giving back to the people we work with, and we are especially happy that we can assist a family we know personally and care deeply about,” expressed Jim Majeski, Cydcor president. Since the sales offices provide so much for the company, Majeski said that Cydcor was more than glad to reach out and help them through the R&R Weekend.
